[Bug 494246] [NEW] Nvidia driver automatically removed while upgrading
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-185
I mistakenly did and `sudo apt-get --assume-yes --force-yes dist-
upgrade` without noticing what was going to change. For some reason the
package nvidia-glx-185 was removed and if I try to install it I get a
notification that xserver-xorg and gdm packages are going to be removed.
I know I don't want those removed. I've tried older versions but they
all seem to have the same issue.
In case this problem won't be resolved for a long time. Is there a way
to go back to Karmic?
