Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

When I boot up using Ubuntu 9.10 (2.6.31- xx), my computer will lock up
after about 10 minutes and I am not able to do anything except move the
mouse pointer around the screen.

However before the lock-up, my computer is fast (which is a significant
improvement from 2.6.28- 15). Thunderbird (2.0.0.23) is very fast (like
before I updated to Ubuntu 9.10).

I have resorted to using 2.6.28- 15 which is stable (does not lock up),
but this version is painfully slow (especially Thunderbird).

I just ran "ubuntu-bug -p xserver-xorg-video-intel" and clicked on "Send
Report", so hopefully you have what you need. I'm a new convert from
Windows, so pardon my ignorance. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with a
2GHz Celeron processor and 1.25GB RAM. Thanks.
