As Philip reported, the "fix" is not satisfactory at all, as it only
emulates 2 fingers recognition whereas the touchpad is actually capable
of multitouch recognition, but behaves as if it was not.

I hope a driver revision or something solves the issue !

By the way, I am experiencing this on a brand new Dell Studio 17 (1747)
laptop, and I am using the emulation workaround for now. Actua
