Oops, the touchpad clicked "post comment" while I was adding that I
actually used the workaround found here : http://forum.ubuntu-
fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=3174954#p3174954

It consists in editing the /etc/profile file and adding the following
lines :

xinput set-int-prop "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" "Synaptics Two-Finger Pressure" 32 40
xinput set-int-prop "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" "Synaptics Two-Finger Width" 32 7
