I still can't get some Compiz things to work, e.g., Raise on Rotate, and
I still had to create symlinks in /usr/lib (particularly for libGLU to
point to the ones in mesa/).  And, yes, I am up to date, including the
above referenced xserver-xorg-core.

> glxinfo: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Install mesa-utils to make that go away.
