Binary package hint: xorg

Two vertical blinking lines appear on my screen. They are one pixel in
width and always appear on the furthest column of pixels to the left and
on the middle-right portion of my screen. The color is white. The pixels
flash up and down the two columns I already mentioned. Problem has been
persistent since I was running Ubuntu 8.10 (now running Karmic).
