[Bug 518847] [NEW] lucid stops booting out of frequency
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
on up to date lucid I get a pretty box when booting that says out of
frequency and does a count down to zero then goes black. This happens
when gdm is coming up. Have to hard reboot. If I boot into 9.10 works as
expected. Can then reboot into 10.04 and it works. I am using a trident
blade 3d. Am not using nvida or radon. Not sure what to do to document.
Thanks
