Fixing this requires two things:

(1) An xserver patch.  This is now upstream:

(2) Additional udev rules need to be added to the xf86-input-wacom rules
file.

I would strongly suggest not waiting for debian on this (I contacted Ron
about this three weeks ago), as I think it's important that testing
Tablet PCs be possible at this point in the release cycle.
