Message #45625
[Bug 524910] [NEW] [i945gme] Xorg crash on a netbook (Intel video): Segmentation fault at address 0x400007c
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
I was typing in Emacs and Xorg segfaulted. The keyboard and mouse didn't
work, and I had to hit Alt-SysRq-K to get back to the login screen.
I have an external display connected to the Mini 9 netbook, and I had
previously toggled the active displays back and forth with the Fn+8 keys
(over an hour before the segfault).
The netbook also suffers from bug #507813 and the symptoms were similar
this time as well, but the backtrace in Xorg.0.log.old is different.
