[Bug 520226] Re: Microsoft Natural 4000 Keyboard and logitech mouse initialization conflicts

I had this problem randomly pop up on me. This affects all my usb
devices. I use 2 external hard drives in a dock, and when my keyboard is
plugged in, these hard drives are not detected.

Everything works fine when unplugging the keyboard, but if left in I
also have to use a ps/2 keyboard and choose which hard drive to boot up,
and it looks like a specific key is being held down, all through boot
up.

If i wait until the machine is logged in and then plug the MS keyboard
in, it opens a specific application over and over, but with only one
instance of it. (Desktop Search). I did a search but can't find what
shortcut it must be.

Hope this gets a fix, You guys do a great job. Thanks
