xorg version:  1:7.5+1ubuntu9
happend with and without nvidia driver

X server restarted when I entered my password for the first time. It happened with the correct password and with wrong ones.
If gdm was set up to ask for passwd, x would restart when i entered a password at the gdm login.
If gdm was set up to log in automatically x would restart when I entered a passwd to unlock the keyring.
This happens only the first time I enter my passwd after booting.
It happens every time I boot
