Binary package hint: xorg

After booting this laptop, I do hear the "ready to login" sound, but display is only showing few strange characters in upper corner, typing brings strange characters.
by pressing "enter" , the display changes to graphic mode, shows the login-dialog and sound is played again, and it's now possible to log in.
Happens every time.
