[Bug 533883] [NEW] Blank screen followed by screen garbage during boot

Using 7th March Lucid Desktop 386 live CD on Dell XPS 1710 laptop -
graphics card is GeForce Go 7950 GTX
During most of boot display is blank. It then shows garbage for a while
before the desktop appears normally
