[Bug 438033] Re: system hangs after login with xserver-xorg-input-vmmouse installed
Hi Benjamin,
Unfortunately just knowing it hangs is not enough information to
troubleshoot the bug, you will need gpu dumps and logs and such. See
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Troubleshooting/XFreeze for some tips on how to
track down your bug. Also it would be good if you can try reproducing
it on Lucid since we have some better freeze capturing tools there
(well, for Intel graphics at least).
Also for reproduction you said after installing -vmmouse it would freeze
with KVM. Does this imply that with -vmmouse not installed that KVM
works without freezing?
