[Bug 533269] Re: External display not working
I'm also unable to setup two projectors (different models) on a laptop
with Lucid. I have no problems with the same hardware under Karmic. For
all resolutions, aspect ratios, and refresh, and mirroring yes/no that I
tried, the result is the same: a legible LCD and "wobbly" projection. By
wobbly, I mean that the image is clearly recognizable and appropriately
sized and ordered, but the scan lines quickly vibrate horizontally.
This is a HP NW8440 laptop with
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M56P [Radeon Mobility X1600]
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 30b4
and Lucid Alpha 3 (with updates as of now)
