[Bug 465703] Re: [i945g] second account in Japanese crashes
I don't post because I am not a coder or a programmer and I have no idea
what most of what you all are talking about is. I even made a complete
mistake about what was going on in the very beginning.
The problem hasn't been prevented me from using Ubuntu, I just have to
keep Compiz turned off which I would usually do anyway. I only noticed
the problem because my wife had compiz running.
Being a non programmer I probably don't know what I am talking about but
it seems to me to be an issue with the new GTK+ and the driver that
operates my video card. Again, I could be completely wrong but every
distribution that I have tested with the new GTK+ has serious problems
on this system.
I dual boot with OpenSolaris 0906 which runs fine but I can't use the
development build at all because of the new GTK+. Now I didn't mention
OpenSolaris so that all of you could turn your hate and anger for that
system on me or decide that you don't want to work on this problem
anymore. I am happy that you guys want to fix this. As to posting
however, I really don't know what else I could post. I will try to test
the system against the Lynx beta when it is available but that probably
won't be until after April 1. Before then I have personal matters to
attend to.
