Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-mga

Usually the video window is just black. Changing the active program to
be other than the player (totem-gstreamer) may enable video playback. I
did test with a live CD and an LCD monitor that works fine with other
hardware. IRRC the same graphics card with an older ubuntu and a CRT
monitor did some kind of flashing (or dark frames) while video playback.
