Message #65175
[Bug 569352] Re: No debug symbols for binary package xserver-xorg
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xorg
As it says in the title.
Currently debugging bug #567696 "[Radeon] [Lucid] [mi] EQ overflowing.
The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop" where the back-trace
- includes several entries from /usr/bin/X but there are no debug symbols
- on the ddeb server or in a specific -dbg package.
+ includes several entries from /usr/bin/X.
- Looking at the xorg source, /usr/bin/X is created in debian/local/. I'm
- not clear right now on how to generate the symbols in this situation but
- I shall investigate if no-one else assigns themselves to this bug before
- then.
+ There are no debug symbols on the ddeb server or in a specific -dbg
+ package but they are included in the shipped binary.
** Summary changed:
- No debug symbols for binary package xserver-xorg
+ No debug symbols package for binary package xserver-xorg
