Message #65173
[Bug 569352] [NEW] No debug symbols for binary package xserver-xorg
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
As it says in the title.
Currently debugging bug #567696 "[Radeon] [Lucid] [mi] EQ overflowing.
The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop" where the back-trace
includes several entries from /usr/bin/X but there are no debug symbols
on the ddeb server or in a specific -dbg package.
Looking at the xorg source, /usr/bin/X is created in debian/local/. I'm
not clear right now on how to generate the symbols in this situation but
I shall investigate if no-one else assigns themselves to this bug before
then.
** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
