[Bug 569656] [NEW] Upgrade to 10.04 messes up Windows Vista boot
Public bug reported:
The laptop is a Dual boot 9.10 with Windows Vista. I upgraded 9.10 to
10.04 RC with dist-upgrade. After the upgrade, the only grub entry
related to Windows was "Windows Recovery Environment", Windows Vista
entry is gone. When I select the "Windows Recovery Environment" entry,
the system only showed a blank screen. However, after 2-3 tries, Windows
Vista boots o.k.
Looks like there are other with similar issue, please refer

Since, many folks will use the Update Manager to upgrade to 10.04, this
could potentially become an issue.
