Public bug reported:

The game "Heroes of Newerth" (Beta, 0.3.3.1) crashes in 10.04 with the
following error:

warning: The VAD has been replaced by a hack pending a complete rewrite
K2 - Fatal Error: ARB_vertex_buffer_object not available.

I'm using a Ati Radeon 2600XT with the radeon driver, but the same
problems have been reported using fglrx too. See this thread for more

I filed this bug against MESA as it seems to be the most likely
candidate but I'm not sure. Please reassign as needed.
