You could probably type blindly into the virtual terminals to collect
the information, but this is a bit difficult!

You can also probably boot the LiveCD by selecting the “Safe graphics
mode” or “nomodeset”.  Sadly the logs from when you're booting with
nomodeset aren't useful, but once you've got some persistent storage we
can grab useful logs from previous boots.
