[Bug 563464] Re: Window manager does not load

I'm not sure if this is the same/related, but since activating the fglrx drivers on a clean install of 10.04 I do not get window decorations on boot. However if I use the compiz fusion icon to reload compiz, I get window decorations.
I installed yesterday from CD and the only config files that I kept from 9.10 are those for firefox and thunderbird.
There were no problems using the open source drivers (aside from the plymouth splash being purple and not fitting properly on my monitor) but I installed the ATI driver after noticing that the open source driver couldn't keep up with some games (eg supertuxkart).
I'm attaching my xorg log file. If there's anything else needed or if i need to file a separate bug report please let me know.
When I run fglrxinfo I get
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: AMD FireStream 9250
OpenGL version string: 3.2.9756 Compatibility Profile Context

Running aticonfig --initial gave me

Found fglrx primary device section
Unable to find any supported Screen sections

I'm not sure if that's bad news - or if you still have to run this
command.
