[Bug 573669] [NEW] linux-backports-modules-nouveau can't be removed from residual config

Public bug reported:

In Synaptic, I have four packages under "residual config" that won't go
away when I select "Completely remove." These packages are:

linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-15-generic
linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-16-generic
linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-19-generic
linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-20-generic

When I try to uninstall them, I get this error:

E: linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-20-generic: subprocess
installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1

This is particularly annoying since I have an ATI card :)

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: ubuntu => xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu)
