Message #72111
[Bug 580125] [NEW] package fglrx (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
Public bug reported:
Upgraded from 8.04 to 10.04. The ATI driver worked fine under 8.04 but
would not install under subsequent upgrades. I've tried the ATI closed-
source driver. It showed to install correctly but no changes were
applied to xorg.conf. I tried using the open-source ATI driver via
Synaptic and received this error.
