[Bug 575584] Re: Lucid Lynx - Increasing monitor resolution results in invisible mouse pointer.

 

I'm also experiencing this problem in Compaq Deskpro Evo. The way i get the mouse pointer back is;
Going to Applications >> Sound and Video >> Movie Player; from the mouse (Still Invisible). 
After Movie player is launched mouse pointer is exactly at the middle of the viewing pane (of Movie Player) even though we can't see it. Then just double-click to make it go full-screen. Now you should be able to see the mouse pointer. I stumbled upon this when i was experimenting to get back the mouse pointer. Although this is not a perfect solution, as in every time you log-in, you have to repeat the steps to get the mouse pointer back.
