[Bug 596354] [NEW] Latest update broke Nvidia driver

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nvidia-173

After the Update Manager did it's job this morning June 19, 2010
nvidia-173 fails with exit code 2 which prevents removing the driver so
I'm stuck. I can't remove, re-install or force anything.
