[Bug 603136] [NEW] xserver high cpu usage / frozen after being idle

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

Fresh install of ubuntu 10.04 bit with all updates
Using Nvidia latest driver 256.35.
Also happens with nvidia's 195.36, 190.53, 190.42, 185.18, and 180.60.

Computer is working ok, I step away for a while, and when I come back, there is only a black screen.
Computer is unresponsive to mouse and keyboard.
However I can login remotely via ssh, using the command top, I can see that CPU usage of Xorg is 100%.
The only way to get back control of the machine is to kill xorg.
Screen saver is set to "Blank Screen"
