I run KDE on my machine properly (3D effects work fine). Default display manager is set to gdm.
System was upgraded to 10.04 LTS.

When I try to logout from KDE (via Logoff menu item) screen goes blank and after some waiting I get the message that nvidia-kernel-module could not be loaded and the X-backup-server pops up.
After restarting X I get a lower resolution with less colours and am able to shutdown the machine. I'd expect to be able to logout properly.

Can I provide more logfiles or configuration details to make this bug
more traceable?
