[Bug 608551] [NEW] X sudenly crashes because cannot allocate memory
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
X crashes because it cannot allocate memory. This bug looks very similar
to https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588549 and
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/585647 aldough I notice a little
difference in Xorg.0.log.old
(WW) intel(0): i830_uxa_prepare_access: bo map failed
Fatal server error:
Failed to submit batchbuffer: Cannot allocate memory <-- different from other bug reports

My ~/.xsession-errors is currently 33MB in size. Here are some samples of highly repeated messages:

message also repeats a few thousand times:
