I have similar problem with ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 when I connect
external monitor via DSUB (it is actually Sony Bravia KDL-26P3000 HD
Ready TV). The image on external monitor is blurry and flickering as
Georgios described in comment #4. Image on laptop (HP nx9420) screen
seemed to be ok but the resolution automatically changed to 1024x768
(same as on TV screen).
