Binary package hint: xorg

When I boot my Maverick on a Dell studio xps 13 laptop, the nvidia
module fails to load and I am thrown to textual login. See the attached
xorg.1.log for the error message. Trying to do "sudo gdm" fails then,
and trying to do startx freezes the system.

I have added the IgnoreABI option = true to the ServerFlags section in
my xorg.conf. This does not help.

The only workaround is to boot choosing "safe mode", then choose root
terminal and then type "gdm". This loads xorg with the nvidia driver
just fine, and all the effects work.

Please let me know if I can send more information regarding this.
