[Bug 645531] [NEW] GeForce G105M: X freezes, no mouse movement, no keyboard possible

Public bug reported:

Yesterday I did a clean install of maverick (Kubuntu) Beta-1. Worked several hours.
Today after about 4 hours 30 min X freezes completly.

I had the same bug on Debian Unstable (never reported). On Debian
I uninstalled libdrm-nouveau1 and the problem went away, but prevented me using my external VGA.

I have a backup of dmesg, syslog, kdm.log, dpkg.log, Xorg.0.log
(attached) of the system.

Provided that you point me to reasonably correct instruction on howto compile the kernel,
drm, etc. I don't mind compiling from source. But I am no X-guru.

Sorry, for not having called ubuntu-bug with the -p option.

Thanks in advance.
