[Bug 651153] [NEW] Compiz functions deactivate by themselves
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
I have Compiz activated, using the Desktop Cube, with "Rotate Cube" and
"3D walls" activated.
Then, I open a .doc document with Openoffice Writer. The document
contains endnotes. When I hover with the cursor over the number of the
footnote (in the main text), I can see the text of the endnote in a sort
of balloon, as expected. Then, however, the desktop environment
disappears momentarily leaving only the wallpaper visible. When it
reappears, the "Cube" has been deactivated and the "Desktop wall" has
replaced it. I then have to reactivate them.
It seems like a bug, but since I have no clue as to what it concerns, I
haven't yet filed a bug report at launchpad.
