[Bug 658923] [NEW] package fglrx (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 2

 

Public bug reported:

I was running 10.04 and had fglrx installed.  I upgraded to 10.10, but
was greeted with a blank screen after reboot.  I booted into a recovery
shell and tried to remove the fglrx package, but it would not let me.
Finally found the solution was to remove some diversions by hand.  Full
