Binary package hint: xorg

I assume this is an xorg problem because when I boot up sometimes it is
starting xserver and then I get a black screen with a _ in the upper
right hand corner. The error in the log is:

I see that this is not a new problem but this is brand new for me in ubuntu 10.10. In 10.04 I never had this problem, this is the 3rd time this has happened to me in 2 days. It seems to happen about 1/3 of the time, always with the same error. 
I am reporting this a new bug because I didn't see anywhere that it was happening with an Intel based chipset, only ATI. Feel free to contact me if you need me to do anything including altering and compiling code. I just don't know what to chance source code wise or where to change it.
