This was not a problem in Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 and earlier. The problem
appeared when I upgraded my Lucid installation to Maverick, using the
update-manager.

Symptom:
The wheel on the mouse for my Wacom Graphire 3 USB tablet only scrolls down.

How to repeat the problem:
Scroll up in any program in Ubuntu Maverick.

Expected behavior:
The page should scroll up.

Actualt result:
The page scrolls down.


According to xev, the scroll wheel generates a button 5 event when scrolling down and when scrolling up. I think it should generate separate button events.
