Public bug reported:

New to Ubuntu. Testing it out via an 8GB USB drive. Nvidia video drivers
never fully installed. I have tried several other application and diver
installations; none have worked. Each time I attempt to install
anything, an error occurs during both the installation and removal.
Additionally, I tried to install Ubuntu along side my Windows XP Media
Center and it won't install. I'm loving Ubuntu, but I am unable to test
it out fully.
