I will be leaving from the parking lot opposite Mill Street Coffee
House (cnr Mill and Dorp street) at 8:50. I will stay in Cape Town
until 5pm.

If anyone wants a lift, let me know.

This is what Stefano had to say about the itinerary and activities:

Sunday 28 March, we *are* having an event, the Ubuntu Global Jam:
Venue: Shuttleworth Lab, UCT Computer Science Building
Time: 10am - 5pm

A get-together to learn how to help out with Ubuntu development. The
next Ubuntu release is coming out soon. This is a chance to test it and
make sure it *will* work for you when released:

* Translation of packages (into Afrikaans, Xhosa, or your favourite
African language. Even translations for UK English are needed.)
* Bugs: finding, triaging and possibly fixing.
* Test Lucid beta live CD on your laptop, or even test upgrading (it'll be
pretty close to the final version). There'll be lots of Ubuntu
experts around to work through problems.
* If you feel like it, help out with routine Freedom Toaster &
 Shuttleworth Lab maintenance.

While this is a rather technical "let's sit down and do things" event,
it should be a good opportunity for anyone who wants to get involved in
development or testing of linux distributions. Total newbies are
welcome.
