If you just want to load files off the CD, you can open the CD's folder (in
Dolphin) and browse through it. If it runs a Windows program, you might be
able to run it in WINE--check at http://appdb.winehq.org/ if it's something
well known.
OO draw is a vector graphics editor, I think (it's used for putting together
shapes, a bit like drawing in Microsoft Word). If you want an image editor
(for touching up photos etc.), GIMP is the best, if a bit tricky to use.
Krita is the best known effort for KDE, but not as good as GIMP, and
kolourpaint is a really simple thing, about the same as Paint on Windows.
