You could try the open flash alternatives but they do have issues with
other flash stuffs.

Adobe's flash is proprietary and so is not developed by the community
but by and only by adobe. This makes bug fixing very hard as the source
code is kept in adobe's secret vaults so sadly you have pretty much
named all of your options.

I'd log a bug as well but I doubt adobe will care. Maybe they have their
own bug site.
