If I click on a combo box with the left mouse button, I must NOT release the button and then scroll down to select the option I want. I don't like this behavior...

The normal behavior would be:
1. I click on the combo box with left mouse button;
2. A list pops up;
3. I release the button;
4. I point the cursor to the option I want;
5. I left click over it.

This is what is happening:
1. I click on the combo box with left mouse button;
2. I MUST NOT release the button;
3. I point to the option I want with the button pressed;
4. I release the button and the option is chosen.

This weird bahavior does not happen on all combo boxes. Web combo boxes are OK, but Ubuntu's are not. Eg. On the combo box "When laptop lid is closed" under Power Management Preferences.
I'm running Karmic with ALL updates installed (until now: 07/15 11:46AM GMT -3:00).
