New question #77167 on gtkhtml3.14 in ubuntu:

I am sending out html emails with CSS styles. It appears that Evolution strips some of the css styles associated with the text, including font-family, font-size and color. The styles associated with the tables remain however. I have screen shots to illustrate what is happening if this helps.
