Yeah i think that solves it you need to remove swfdec.
Try this: Close Firefox. Open synaptic package manager and remove any of the following packages that are installed:

swfdec-gnome
swfdec-mozilla
libswfdec-(version number)

Then install:

adobe-flashplugin

then open firefox and try again.
