That means not a lot. Yes you may have wine installed but that by no
means garuntees it will work
Some apps run great with wine (DeusEx, World of Warcraft) some won't
even install and some run really badly.
Wine is a best effort attempt as many of the windows services and inner
workings are protected and proprietary. Wine attempts to allow these to
run by translatuing the calls to native Linux calls.
I searched the wine database and Call Of Atlantis is not named so
weather or not the game will run is a mystery.
I can suggest a few things:
use the wine from the wine repo. It may give different results
http://www.winehq.org/download/deb
run:
winecfg
and set the system to various systems (try vista for example)
I run games using command line
for example:
wine .wine/drive_c/DeusEx/System/DeusEx.exe
If you launch your app using this method (start with wine .wine/drive_c/
and work from there) you will get uotput to the terminal which you can
post on the appdb and it will maybe get recified / suggestions later.
You could also post it here as an update
