I am using jaunty and a logitech QuickCam. I still had to add
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so

before running skype or camstream - is this expected? If so, this should
probably be added to http://help.ubuntu.com/community/Webcam/.
