If a install fail and is broken:
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/*.bin
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Setting up java-common (0.30ubuntu4) ...
Processing triggers for man-db ...
Processing triggers for doc-base ...
Processing 2 added doc-base file(s)...
Registering documents with scrollkeeper...

Should be fix it and you can select broken in the SPM
that worked for me
