Re: [Question #78058]: cannot use RealPlayer

Question #78058 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78058

    Status: Open => Answered

actionparsnip proposed the following answer:
You can add the medibuntu repo

http://packages.medibuntu.org/jaunty/realplayer.html

sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/jaunty.list --output-
document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list; sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update

you will get a moan about the repo not being verified, say yes, this
will now be fixed as the medibuntu keyring provides the security for it.

you can now run:

sudo apt-get install realplayer

If you got a good install using the .bin file then this is not needed.
