New question #78175 on evince in ubuntu:

While viewing a .pdf document in Evince the characters overlap each other, making it unreadable.
(Looks fine using Adobe reader on windows.)

Ubuntu 8.04/Evince 2.22.2

Any help would be appreciated; I am trying to wean myself from Micro$oft!!
