willy6635 is still having a problem:
I have 57 GB of free disk space and only about 30% of available RAM in
use, however, something is pounding the CPU at close to 100%
continuously, and I'm assuming this is the resource shortage problem. I
have a virus scan running but it is going to take a couple of hours, I'd
say. I did try closing all open programs to see if there was a problem
with one of them. It made no difference. Also looking at the processes
in System monitor shows only 10% to 20% of cpu capacity in use, but the
graph shows 100% continuously.
